Thank You Athens for 5 Years!
Online Banking
At Classic City Bank, we strongly stand by our Mission to be recognized as a true community partner. Our officers and employees are actively engaged in service to our community through volunteerism, mentorship, board service, and community outreach with organizations they are passionate about. It is an honor to reinvest in our community through various sponsorships and employee engagement.
Classic City Bank is celebrating its fifth anniversary of “banking the way it should be.” With a firm commitment to their clients’ financial well-being, Classic City Bank has exemplified the difference local banking provides over the past five years - loyalty and responsiveness.
Classic City Bank has felt the overwhelming support from the Athens community, and attributes their success to their wonderful customers and team of experienced, professional bankers who live out Classic City Bank’s mission on a daily basis. As Classic City Bank looks toward the next five years, they are eager to continue proving the difference in banking locally and giving back to the community through various donations to nonprofits, some of whom have included the Brightpaths, Clarke County School District, Clarke County Mentor Program and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.“As we look to the future, we are confident that Classic City Bank will continue to prosper alongside the steady growth of the Athens market and the ongoing consolidation within the banking industry,” said Colin Stokes, President and CEO of Classic City Bank. “We believe this environment will further highlight the value of Classic City Bank’s community-focused approach, personalized service and strong local relationships. We remain committed to providing exceptional banking solutions and to supporting the continued vitality of the Athens community we proudly serve.”
Classic City Bank is a presenting sponsor for Clarke County School District Convocation on July 30, 2025. In this video, Interim Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Scott is joined by Colin Stokes, President and CEO of Classic City Bank, to talk about the bank and its involvement in supporting CCSD schools, students, educators, and families. The Convocation brings together all 2,900+ employees from all schools and departments to participate in a day-long professional learning event to help kick off the 2025-2026 school year.
CCB presented a $2,500 donation to the Athens Community Career Academy recently, which has been utilizing the Georgia Peach Education Tax Credit to raise funds for its Biotechnology Healthcare pathways, which will help CCSD students thrive in high-wage, high-demand industries in our community.
Tis the season to give back!🎄✨ Recently, CCB was excited to make a donation of $20,000 to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office that works so hard to foster safety in our community. Per recent Georgia law, companies like the bank can receive dollar-for-dollar tax credits for donations made to a qualified law enforcement foundation.
